Electrical Condition Report to B.S 7671: 2018

(Also known as Electrical Installation Testing  or Periodic Inspection Report for an electrical installation)

 

Handley Electrical Maintenance Limited offer a testing service for industrial, commercial and domestic clients - including Landlord certificates. All works completed as per our membership of the NIC EIC.

 

The procedure is completed on site and will involve the visual inspection of the installation followed by a test and inspection which incorporates both live and dead testing.

 

Tests carried out include:-

 

Dead tests

  • Insulation Resistance tests
  • R1+R2 tests
  • Continuity tests
  • Main earth continuity tests

Live tests

  • Earth Loop Impedance (Zs and Ze) tests
  • RCD trip times and trip current measurement
  • Voltage drop measurement
  • Main supply current demand

The results are transferred to our approved test sheets. Once verified by the Principal Duty Holder a hard copy will be produced and supplied in booklet form. Also a copy of the report will be supplied on CD format as a PDF file.

 

 

 

The results portfolio may indicate that the installation requires some remedial works to bring the installation up to standard.

 

Any remedial works required will be quoted at the time of producing the report.
